A crashcourse on the year's most consequential essay topics, six comprehensions and eight essays, all marked, plus two exclusive textbooks to keep. Available now on demand, the recordings, the papers and the books, the moment you enrol.
For JC1 students, Promos are eight to twelve weeks away. For JC2, prelims are around the corner. The holidays are the one block of unbroken time before the term restarts at full pace, and the strongest students treat it as the inflection point, not the rest period.
GP shares the timetable with five or six other subjects. By June most students have written five to eight essays, which is what the term realistically allows. The volume gap is structural, and the holidays are where it can be closed without squeezing anything else.
Trump's second term, the SG Culture Pass, the Cross Island Line, biodiversity and geoengineering. The most exam relevant material for the current cohorts is being written this year, and it takes a structured block of time, and a structured chapter, to absorb properly.
Reading widely is essential, but it does not move marks on its own. Writing under timed conditions, marked and revisited, is where the band shifts. Two of the three days are exactly that: six comprehensions and eight essays, all marked.
Each day is a discrete, complete component, and the three are designed to compound. Day one is the content base; days two and three apply it under marking conditions.
Three contemporary chapters: the Environment (biodiversity and geoengineering), Arts and Culture (artistic appreciation in Singapore and the SG Culture Pass debate), and Mr President (a non partisan analysis of Trump and what it means for Singapore). Each is mapped to recent past year questions and where the papers are likely to go.
Six full comprehension passages, pre assigned as homework, worked through methodically: passage navigation, explanation and inference, summary technique, and the AQ. Time management is taught explicitly. Every comprehension is marked and returned.
Eight essay questions, pre assigned, worked through with a focus on argument architecture, paragraph evaluation, and using Singapore as the analytical lens rather than an afterthought. Each essay is marked, returned and discussed against the band descriptors.
Anyone can claim a curriculum is rigorous. Here are three real chapters from the current library. Each carries a central question, a precise factual base anchored in Singapore, and the named past year questions it equips you to answer. This is the substance your lessons and crashcourses are built on, and you can inspect more of it free.
Is Trump the cause of global disorder, or its symptom?
How much should humans remake nature, on whose authority, and who pays the cost?
Has Singapore built an arts hub, or just a collection of arts venues?
Every term textbook is written from scratch, scoped against ten years of past year questions, and revised through at least five drafts. Listed at $49.90 each, included free. These are real pages.
Mr Wong's GP lessons have been very helpful. He is very precise when explaining our mistakes and his consults are also very helpful! I only joined a week before my prelims and my grades went up a lot!! The predicted essay questions are also fairly accurate which is super beneficial and the tips he gives are super useful. He is able to relate dry concepts to his own life or our daily lives in general and it makes it so much easier to remember especially during exams!!
Most students in our GP cohorts have achieved an A or B. We do not publish a percentage A rate, because a number stripped of context would mislead. The curriculum, the writing volume and the marked feedback are the proof we stand behind, and you can inspect them free before you decide.
