Most JC1 students pause after promos. This holiday window is where you build GP content and technique for JC2, across November and December, before the term restarts at pace.
After promos, most JC1 students stop. But the weeks before JC2 begins are the one long block of unbroken time you get, and the strongest students use it as a working block. GP rewards content depth and writing reps, and both take time that the JC2 term does not give you.
Lay the content base across science and technology, economics and politics, and the local to global lens, so JC2 starts from depth rather than scratch.
